When it comes to Russian beat science, you need to know about Alexey Devyanin aka Pixelord. Getting into instrumental, electronic Hip Hop after long years of experimental music as Gultskra Artikler, this videogames maniac produces rich and versatile beats far from any common cliche.
Hailing from the flourishing electronic music scene in Moscow, Pixelord focuses on producing records that put pleasure into perspective. Basslines that ring, sump, float and dive between tangled bleeps, squeaks, “8 Bit Glitter“, glassy pads and crystal clear synths. Despite drifting casually between Dubstep, Hip Hop, 2Step and UK Bass ridden territories, his works remain intelligently soulful, with sparsly plotted 8-bit Nintendo bloops and chipmonk vocal hooks. Stay tuned to witness the future!

Moscow beatmaker OL, otherwise known as Oleg Buyanov. Born in 1986, he began to study electronic music seriously at the age of sixteen. OL's material often shows a dramatic avoidance of swift - or even logical - progression. The looping, unhurried structures of his catalog come to validate repetition and even randomness over most forms of predictable progress. His sound bites are almost always cut off, echoed, or held back in some fashion: in a word, he has become a major exponent of so-called "blunted beats." The rich tradition of the Soviet Union contemporary electronic music composition is basis for how the mood does change and sound in OL’s tracks.
In recent times, OL joined the how2make party line-up to immediately earn the respect of the Moscow audience. These parties take place in the most famous spots of the Russian capital where OL continues to penetrate the sensitive consciousness of his audience.

Estonia’s Sander Mölder understands that we make our own musical destiny - perseverance and a positive mental attitude are the key factors needed. Seven years of cello tuition set the stage for his musical exploits, which include a slew of experimental projects as part of his course in electronic music. He's not just about granular synthesis and electro-acoustics though. He's played in various bands (including his current project State Of Zoe and Anneliis Kits & Righteous Jazz Citizens), played a genre-busting DJ set at the Latvian indie pop festival Positivus, and performed at London's Royal Albert Hall as part of a chamber orchestra. Breakin' the Mölder for real!
