Põhjamaiselt käredat bassi toovad seekord teieni Soome poisid
BEN KAMA (Midnight Sun Recordings, Regal Records)
http://soundcloud.com/kama
Ben Kama's love affair with drum and bass started in 2000. Adam Fs Circles was the very first dnb track that really caught his attention.
Pretty soon after that he wanted to try making music by his self and went ahead with the first giant leap...
Usva (:mist, fog in my native, Finnish) was a project name for a crew formed between Ben and his 2 friends who had similiar tastes in
music a strong emphasis on melodic content and ambience, but still they could turn the sound nasty in a heartbeat.
In 2009 finally his first release Tears Of Jah on Santorin came out. It has a good melody, a grooving and classic drum track and a very
simple bass line. The year 2010 saw the emergence of Ben Kama's DJ side. Starting the DJ trade has had the biggest impact on his tracks,
since "in the dance music scene, knowing what makes people dance and what makes a booty shake is obviously very important" says Ben Kama.
Having said that, he still does not want to sacrifice musical and original ideas to danceability, but rather to combine the best of both worlds.
