Live: Tapecut Project
-------------------------------------------------
Club UpUp, Estonia pst 1/3, Tallinn
Starts 22.00
Entrance free
UpUp Basar is the new series of events, which take us beyond the
frontiers of music trends and combine ethnic music, jazz, techno & house.
The first event of the series will take place at UpUp café on
27-th of june and is launched by experimental tapecut project. The
concept of this project is club shamanism, which is all about music
originated in the old ages uniting with tendencies in modern
electronic scene. Guests of UpUp Basar have the rare opportunity to
witness the live sound of ancient trance musical instrument
didgeridoo, used by Australian aborigines in their ceremonial and
religious rituals for over 1500 years. It is believed, that specific
and low-toned sound of didgeridoo (yidaki) is the closest to the
nature itself. Hypnotic techno-house & minimal, guitar noise with the
cosmic sound of didgeridoo will surely take us back to the roots of
music and dance culture of our ancestors
