About the Performers
DJ Biochrome (d-lab project)- An acquiantance of mine, whom I decided to invite to the pilot party of Acidia. Plays practically everything, except psytrance, he has performed at numerous rave.ee parties, and has also played in Chillout, on Neocide and on Dark Rave 2.
DJ Daggett (neocide) - As he himself says, the guy who reawakened hardcore in Estonia, a very good friend and an even better performer. He has heated up parties in Finland, Russia, is the owner of the Neocide series of events and has played on Dark Rave, Beats from the Vault, Hardcore Küte, Mindcore and Project Mayhem, Kunda Acoustic Beach Festival
DJ Mental (thebalticstorm.com) - The man behind Hardcore to the Bone - Kyte & Mindcore parties and my dj name. He's one hardcore motherfucker, who can really rock your world. The songs he chooses and plays are rarely below very good, and his mixing is very good. One of his personal favourite songs is born to raise hell - dj dione, and let's hope he plays it for our halloween.
DJ Speakerqueen (rave.ee) - and as usually I am the youngest in this list. And the only female. For those who see this DJ name for the first time, I am the first and only estonian hardcore female DJ, parties in my experience include Dark Rave, Beats from the Vault, Kyte 3, LSD. For Acidia will prepare one industrial-darkelectro set for all my favourite rivetheads and cybergoth, an industrial-darkelectro-darkpsy set for all my favourite dark ravers and psytrancers, and finish the party with the return to good old gabber, darkcore, and a bit nu-style hardcore
Cipmen Duo (thebalticstorm.com) - the dj duo from balticstorm, consisiting of DJ Mental and DJ Cipher, they have experience over 6 years, and both are constant resident djs who play at Hard Knocks of Drum and Bass. In fact I like the dnb that Cipher plays, even though I am not exactly a fan of this music style.
DJ Omegatron (neocide) - a student DJ of Dag, and a person whom I very much admire for the music he playus, since there are practically no DJs left who play so much industiral and noise anymore. Dag doesn't play it anymore, and nor does Skiso, but on the last Neocide I found out, that there still is someone who plays good old industrial and noise, Omegatron. After disappearing from my vision of parties for quite a while, he made a triumphal return on Neocide 9. And now, I've bribed him to play at my party. Yes, I bribed him. )))
