But u think that it is normal when our president was born in Sweden... then he lived in America... now he is president of Estonia... Tomorrow somthing else???

he is a smart and educated man - I have met him in person, so I know. might seem a bit arrogant though. he is able to communicate with other (more powerful) western leaders on an even ground - hence, useful for Estonia as a whole and every Estonian citizen. and that's why I really do not care where he was born or where raised (actually I consider spending a part of life in US a bonus - good educational background, helpful for setting goals, no communist background whatsoever). also, it can give him the perspective of Estonian life both from "aside" and "inside". he understands the surrounding world by far better than most of Estonian politicians.
but, ofcourse, if the supreme court decides his election was un-constitutional (there is paragraph 79 which says one has to be 40 *and* born estonian citizen), then he won't be president. it's disputable whether there was an Estonian state in 1953, because for example Soviet Union (and now Russia) did not recognize Estonian govt in exile, however, most of the Western world did - and, if a bit offtopic is allowed, that's the point why Estonians consider their state to be direct successor to 1st EW 1918-40, but Russia wants that Estonia should be a completely new state. so, actually, there are no obstacles for THI.
he may be half-foreigner, but he has been blending in quite well IMHO. And I think he is knowledgeable of life in Estonia better than thought.
I'm not saying everything will be blossoming after he becomes president, it's just there is a far better chance that out of two candidates, he would be the one to make severe progress.

not entirely true.
see, there are several types of democracies - parliamentary, where the most powerful person is the prime minister (UK, Germany - kanzler is basically that) and where the president is (US, France, Russia). Estonia is somewhere in between - president is mostly a representative figure, but also can choose not to apply laws ratified in the parliament and some other things, too. for a full list, check :

there was somewhere a translation in russian as well, but couldn't find it.
another big difference from US-France-Russia is that Estonian president must not be a member of any political force, hence he quit his Social Democrat party.

nah, they're "life" facts alright, but I simply try not to mix emotions with them, better keep the head as clear and objective as possible.
what are your "life" aspects and events you're referring to?
I mean, I've heard that before, "being distant from the real life". please enlighten me, what is real life? gimme examples, etc?
edit: that some of Estonia's population still is in poverty? that some of Estonia's inhabitants still haven't figured out which citizenship they desire? that the crime rate is actually alarmingly high? that the politicians use rather rude methods for their fight for power? that there are different views of recent history? that the development from postsovietism to democratic capitalism took time and old habits don't dissolve that easily? that some people - no disrespect, but I think you also are one of them - do not know what are their rights? that, in result, someone you dislike is in the government? that someone actually has a lot more money than you do?
and how is everything of that related to THI's person and president's institution?
life is not fair. never meant to be, as such criteria cannot be applied to it.

1. Обьявляет выборя в Рийгикогу...
2. Объявляет законы...
3. Представляет республику в международных сношениях...
4. Назначает на должность и освобождает от неё членов правительства...
5. Является высшим руководителем гос. обороны...
И президент должен быть гражданином Эстонии по рождению и не менее 40лет должно ему быть... Ст.79 КЭР
