Lady Lite, born 11th May 1979, grew up with only her mother and a little sister, near a black American base where her mother used to hang out with her friends so her first words were in Dutch and in English. Her favourite music from a child has been black music, especially reggae.
In 1995 Lady Lite started working at the legendary germinal techno parties, which is how she started to appreciate electronic music.
In 2000, at the age of 20, Lady Lite asked a friend, Lowdown, to show her how DJ’s mix. Three months later she started to perform in public. Immediately she became resident of Illtown and the late Four In Trance (4IT), who organised parties at venues like in old mining buildings and in caves in and around Limburg. Her choice of records is very variable. She likes to experiment with less known records that are influenced by black music like ragga, robot voices and female lyrics. For special occasions she was hosted by MC Wolfface from the hip hop posse Rhyme Dealaz.
In January 2001 Lowdown establishes Illtown Rec. which is a music label with techno and electro releases from Locutus, Stanny Franssen aka G-Force, Xentrix and himself. When her productions are ready she will probably produce them on this label.
From August 2001 until February 2002 Lady Lite worked at JJ Records in her home town Hasselt. To fill her open hours she decided to take some lessons in sculpture at the academy where she used to go as a kid. That year she became a resident DJ at Muziek-O-Droom and The Zoo.
Now Lady Lite is also a member of the Brussels girls’ only posse PussiesTraxes (next to founders Miss Elorak, Popane and Kay).
In January 2002 MC Mary Jane introduced herself and since March 2002 she hosts her on almost every performance.
At the end of May 2002 Lady Lite and Lowdown opened their own DJ shop “Illtown Records”. In 2003 the money shooter decided to open another cafй and withdrew so they were forced to sell the shop. The graffiti policy Jungle Tactics from Limburg also had its office at their shop. Some time later she and some friends introduced Dedkob Crew. It seems to have a violent imago but it’s really about collaboration between different crew members with the same idea good to prove that cooperation is possible, that it’s all about the fun and that nothing’s what it seems. Cooperating crew members for now come from Illtown, Jungle Tactics, Tsunamica, Rest In Beatz (RIB), Gamorah Sound, Breakz and Area51. In September 2003 Lady Lite decided to go back to school and is now studying to become an art teacher.
Lady Lite’s choice of music changed over the years. She still mixes drum n bass at some points but she swears on raggajungle and doesn’t step back to experiment with raga bass, the younger brother of raggajungle, who is very popular in Canada. She says she loves this music so much because it’s a combination between past and present. As a kid she loved to listen to reggae and later she discovered jungle. She just loves the complexity of raga bass and what it does to her. When it tickles in her stomach by listening to a tune she’s convinced to spin it.

я не думаю,что те люди,которые увлекаются рагга-джанглом....будут держать у себя этот микс......я бы тебе сам лучше посоветовал послушать других людей в этом стиле,к примеру soundmurdarer,16aj etc.
вот эти дяди действительно умеют.....
